On 2022 May 11, an exhibition seminar on the topic “Field testing of grain fields sown in order to obtain a seed crop of 2022” was organized at the “Grains and Rice” scientific and production association of the Nukus region. The seminar was attended by: Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Water Management and Nature Protection of Zhukorgi Kengesa (Utambetov D.), Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Kaipov D.), Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Ziyadullaev Z.), Director of Center of Agricultural Services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Shamshetov S.), Head of the Department of the Inspectorate for Control of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (A Yuldashev), Head of the Territorial Administration of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Sabirov S.) of the Center for the Development of Seed Production, Head of the Karakalpak Branch of the State Unitary Enterprise "Service Center in the Agro-Industrial Complex" (Mamutov I.) , Head of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Agency (A. Turdishev), head of TILEKLES AGROKHIMIKAT LLC (S. Ajiniyazov), with the participation of district khokims and heads of agricultural departments, regional grain enterprises, heads of more than 100 grain clusters and seed farms.
The seminar was opened by D. Kaipov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, informing the participants about the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers KM-147 dated March 31, 2022 “On additional measures to ensure food security and price stability in the domestic market”, focused on storage issues, gave instructions relevant officials on the quality of harvesting and storage of grain of the current year. During the seminar, Shamshetov S. spoke about the tasks and functions of ACIS, the role of science in delivering the achievements of science and innovation in agriculture to seed farms, gave instructions on timely measures to combat diseases and pests, as well as on the organization of high-quality harvesting and storage of grain. In addition, during the seminar, our center demonstrated herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biostimulants used in the processes of grain growth and development, disease and pest control, and also gave recommendations on the order and timing of application.
