The following are the main tasks of the Center of Agricultural Services: ensuring the integration of education, science and industry in agriculture; implementation of the concept of the System of Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture (AKIS); establishment of mutually beneficial scientific and production cooperation with farms, agricultural clusters and cooperatives, as well as advanced foreign research institutions, introduction of new scientific developments, innovations and digital technologies; coordination of research activities of all types of state scientific and higher education institutions in the field of agriculture; ensuring retraining and advanced training of personnel, taking into account the current and future needs of the agricultural sector in qualified specialists; Carrying out fundamental, applied and innovative research in the field of agriculture, training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel, their training on the basis of advanced experience and modern technologies; Development of a network of national information and consulting services that will ensure the effective exchange and transfer of knowledge, skills and abilities with the broad involvement of the public and private sectors in agriculture; assistance in the implementation of international quality standards, the establishment of a platform for cooperation between producers and agribusiness. The center of agricultural services performs the following functions in accordance with the tasks assigned to it: a) in the field of ensuring the integral integration of education, science and industry in agriculture: improvement of mechanisms for deepening economic reforms in agriculture, development of high-efficiency, diversified economy, expansion of economic independence of producers, development and implementation of measures for the development of private entrepreneurship in rural areas; study and creative application of world best practices in the organization and management of agriculture, development of cooperation with leading international and foreign research centers, organization of training of employees of scientific organizations in foreign scientific institutions; to produce ready-made scientific developments, new high-yielding varieties of crops, economical arotechnologies, methods of tillage taking into account regional conditions, irrigation regime, norms and terms, high-quality seeds of agricultural crops, effective agro-technical methods created by crop types and varieties to establish close mutually beneficial cooperation with agro-industrial clusters, cooperatives, farms and dehkan farms for implementation; training of personnel in cooperation with higher education institutions in the field of agriculture, taking into account the needs of production, involvement of highly educated personnel in the field of agricultural science, ensuring the interdependence of areas of professional development; b) in the field of implementation of the concept of the system of knowledge and innovations in agriculture (AKIS): implementation of scientific and practical measures to ensure food safety and sanitary and hygienic safety of food products in the country, the development of services related to the delivery of the results to agricultural enterprises; introduction of a sustainable management system aimed at increasing the efficiency of land and water use, taking into account the negative effects and prognosis of global climate change; creation of a scientific and practical basis for the development of the value chain in agriculture, including agricultural resources, agricultural and food markets and market infrastructure, optimization of exports and imports, regular delivery of scientific results to agriculture through relevant agricultural services; ensuring the effective functioning of the system of knowledge and innovations in agriculture, aimed at forecasting and planning, monitoring and evaluation of agricultural development, as well as the creation of social, economic, legal and organizational framework of the system; Involvement of a group of foreign experts in order to promote the effective organization of the system of knowledge and innovations in agriculture within the framework of world standards; c) in the field of establishing mutually beneficial scientific and production cooperation with farms, agricultural clusters and cooperatives and advanced foreign research institutions, introduction of new scientific developments, innovations and digital technologies: preparation of proposals for the development of scientific and technical potential for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, strengthening the material base of science; Together with the National Center for Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation and other agencies to develop a program to increase soil fertility, crop yields and agricultural production efficiency, develop seed production, introduce modern resource and energy-saving technologies; Carrying out author's control over the implementation of the results of research conducted by the Center for Agricultural Services in agriculture, animal husbandry, irrigation, land reclamation and forestry; Formation and implementation in practice of innovative technologies, methods of digital dissemination of knowledge, aimed at improving the quality of science, production and services in the field of agriculture in cooperation with relevant ministries, departments and organizations; creation of a database of innovative resource-saving techniques and technologies in the field of agriculture and advanced foreign and domestic experience on the basis of international best practices and the formation of a convenient digital information exchange system for use by agricultural knowledge and innovation systems; Read moreOn May 13, 2022, in cooperation with Center of Agricultural Services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and scientists of the Karakalpak Research Institute of Farmers, with the participation of more than 20 farms of the Chimbay region, a scientific and practical training seminar was organized on the topic “Cultivation of cotton fields and the unification of cotton and other agrotechnical activities in the fields of cotton in the conditions of Karakalpakstan”. The seminar was opened by S.Shamshetov, informing the participants about the importance of preparing for the season of agricultural machinery and the timely implementation of agrotechnical measures. During the seminar, the participants from the scientists of the Institute were given evidence-based recommendations on agricultural technologies for growing cotton and agricultural technologies carried out after rainfall. As a result of the seminar, director of the Center S.Shamshetov visited the biological laboratory at the Karakalpak Research Institute of Farmers and focused on and gave recommendations to farmers of the Chimbay region on the importance of using entomophages bred here (trichogramma, oltinkoz, bracon) against pests found in cotton and other agricultural crops.
