On April 23, 2022, within the framework of the project “Exchange of experience in the regional network of consulting centers of universities in Central Asia and improving the knowledge and skills of women farmers in the practice of agribusiness and agriculture”, a training seminar was organized. The seminar was attended by the director of the Center of Agricultural Services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan S. Shamshetov and specialists, a number of scientists, as well as women farmers.
The event was opened by the director of the Center S. Shamshetov, who widely informed the participants about the role and importance of AKIS in the field of agriculture and the services provided in it. After that, the event was continued by the chief specialist of the center Sh. Saginbayeva with a report on the topic "Agritourism - a promising direction of agribusiness."
During the training seminar, Professor I. Normuratov gave practical recommendations to women farmers on the topic "Fruit and vegetable production and viticulture." In addition, the participants were provided with scientifically based recommendations on the topic “The Importance of Soybeans and Cultivation Technologies” by Professor Zh. Khudaikulov, as well as information on the methods of processing soybeans and the resulting products.
After that, the participants of the training seminar received appropriate answers to their questions from scientists and specialists.
At the end of the training seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
