On April 11 of this year, the Director of the Agricultural Services Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, B. Annaqulov, held a meeting with Dr. Satydev Patak, Director of one of India's prestigious seed companies, Nath Bio-Genes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the development of mutual cooperation, the introduction of modern agricultural technologies, and increasing the efficiency of cotton cultivation. Specifically, taking into account the specific soil and climatic conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an agreement was reached to conduct experimental planting of 4 promising cotton varieties developed by the Nath Bio-Genes company.
The experimental work will contribute to identifying high-yielding, disease-resistant, and suitable varieties for the region's climatic conditions. Based on the test results, it is planned to introduce the most effective varieties on large areas. This, in turn, contributes to increasing the volume of cotton cultivation, improving product quality, and increasing the income of farms.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation, implement mutually beneficial projects for the exchange of scientific experience, and implement innovative solutions.
