A seminar on "Agrotechnical measures currently being implemented in grain fields sown for the 2026 harvest" was organized at the Barakali Sari Oltin farm in the Sari Oltin rural community of Qonliko'l district.
The seminar was held with the participation of farmers of this region, and N.Nurimbetov, a specialist of the AKIS Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, gave recommendations to farmers on the state of winter wheat, the phase of development, the application of 35-40 percent of the annual rate of nitrogen fertilizers depending on the soil and climatic conditions of the region, additional fertilization, and further agrotechnical measures.
During the seminar, scientifically based recommendations on winter wheat care developed by the AKIS Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in cooperation with research institutes were distributed to farmers.
