On August 23, in cooperation with the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A practical training conference was organized on the topic “Strengthening the potential of women in the Aral Sea region, increasing the efficiency of saline agricultural land through the use of innovatively prepared compost and improving the ecological situation in the region.” The conference was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan - Chairman of the Committee on Family and Women Affairs Akhmedova M., Director of the International Center for Biofarming in Arid Conditions (ICBA) Karimov A., Chairman of the Association "Agrarian Women" of Uzbekistan Akhmedzhanova A., Chairman of the Ecology Committee Karakalpakstan A.Saparov, also with the participation of employees of other interested organizations and women's employees of the Nukus region.
At the conference, the specialist of our Center Sh. Saginbayeva spoke on the topic “Agritourism - prospects for the development of agribusiness”, which discussed the development of small businesses and private entrepreneurship through the participation of foreign and domestic tourists in the production of agricultural products in rural areas, increasing their interest and skills in processing, proposals and recommendations are also given to increase the population's demand for environmentally friendly products and increase the number of new jobs in rural areas.
In addition, scientists and experts in this field made suggestions and recommendations to improve the knowledge and skills of women in the Aral Sea region in the agricultural sector, the formation of a home garden, home composting methods to increase the productivity of saline farms, the correct composition of the diet when feeding dairy cattle, also the importance of efficient use of waste in improving the environmental situation in the region.
