In order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks of the video conference meeting held on July 27, 2022 under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev, approved by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan K. Sariev on July 30, 2022 (No. 01-09 / 8-07 / 767), a working group was formed in composition of scientists and industry experts on the basis of the work plan within the framework of "Dolzarb 30 days" for the implementation of agrotechnical measures in all regions from august 1 to august 30 of the current year to protect cotton from abnormally hot temperatures in the regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
In cooperation with scientists from the Karakalpak Research Institute of Agriculture, educational activities were carried out with cotton-textile clusters and farms in the Karauzyak district, which must be carried out during the “Dolzarb 30 days” to mitigate the negative impact of abnormally high temperatures observed in our republic on cotton, science-based recommendations were also given to preserve the grown crop and increase them.
