On June 14, 2022, in cooperation with the Karakalpak Republican Center for Agro-Services, employees of the department of agriculture and scientists of the department, with the participation of more than 18 farms of the Nukus region, a scientific and practical training seminar was organized on «The water-saving technologies in the cultivation of rice in irrigated fields».
The workshop provided evidence-based recommendations on the importance of using a laser level to save water, and farmers received relevant answers to their questions from scientists and experts.
