On January 2-4, 2026, in all districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, under the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, with the participation of the director of the AKIS Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and district agricultural consultants, scientists of the Scientific and Production Association of Grain and Rice, demonstration training seminars were held for the heads of clusters, farms, and dehkan farms on the topic "Innovative agricultural technologies and irrigation regimes used in the cultivation of high yields of winter crops for the 2026 harvest in the districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan."
At the seminar, recommendations were given on the proper organization of grain cultivation, increasing yields, preparing lands for leaching, introducing water-saving technologies, and effectively using water resources through concreting irrigation networks.
Also, the heads of farms, representatives of clusters, agricultural workers, and industry specialists were familiarized with practical proposals and best practices in field conditions, and explanations were given on the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures.
